Hi Everyone! I am going to volunteering in Tanzania starting April 8th and would love to have about 1,000$+ raised by then. I will be staying at the orphanage just over 2 months. This is a good amount of time to help out and complete many projects. The orphanage and projects run on volunteers, what they bring, and donation. With this money i hope to buy school supplies, materials to build houses and things that are so essential we might not think hard to get like Tampons and toothbrushes.

Light In Africa is a Tanzania registered not for profit organization (NGO) which cares for sick, abandoned and handicapped children and other unsupported people in Africa. This program was recommended to me by a friend who’s son has just returned in December. He felt his time spent in Africa really made a difference in many lives and was a life changing event. Not everyone can or wants to travel to Africa so by donating you are making a HuGe difference as the donation will go directly to the children’s needs.

"To be a volunteer in Africa is not for the faint hearted, it is for people who are willing to give 100% and more. You will witness many things that you would never have imagined, but it is guaranteed that your heart will be touched and you will leave with many memories of individual children and the many different characters that you will meet." -Light in Africa

The more money I have to bring the more help and supplies all the children can get. Anything you would like to spare will be greatly appreciated by all the Children in Tanzania. Thank you so much for your support and help.

Love, Annick
